Happy Birthday to Us!

We had a our 3 in 1 birthday dinner last Monday since my mum, bro & moi birth dates are just few days apart. We usually celebrate with my relatives but for this year, we decided to keep it simple becoz of the rising cost of everything lor!! HAHAHA. Anyway we went Hanabi Jap Restaurant @ Odeon Tower for a-la-carte buffet. As usual, we wack lotsa sashimi and grilled shisamo fish, Yummy! Tho it's oso moi b'day celebration but no pic of me... tsk tsk tsk.. boo hoo! Heehee, It's alrite, we did have lotsa fun :) Thank God for blessings and giving us another year of His grace.

Barnabas need a "Barnabas" too

Serving in a 'people ministry', I've enjoyed being a part of people's life, encouraging and motivating them to where God wants them to be. I like to impart what I've learn to others. & of coz eventually I wish to step down to where I’m called to minister in order for others to take over. I am excited to pass the baton to the next generation leaders, believing that they have great potentials. I am all willing to release the ‘Paul’ into the ministries they belong. Yet in the people ministry, I must learn to face this fact: people come and go. They come to you when they need help or need comfort but when things are going well for them; they might forget you or take you for granted. Yet I told God in tears, it'll all be worth it.
I really do wish to have an encourager in my life too, someone who spurs me on; motivates; and appreciate what I’ve done for them, yes, I know God will reward all that his servants have done for His Kingdom sake (He is the ultimate encourager), but I am human & emotional being. Other than the spiritual assurance, I need verbal or even tangible assurance to know that I’m doing alright. Who will be that “Barnabas” in this “Barnabas’” life?
