Changes

This is a new year with new beginnings and lots of changes!

1. Got myself a cherry red highlight! My Bro say I look Ah lian...Red HongBao in preparation for CNY. Haha... anyway this highlight is non-chemical! No harm trying

2. Leaving my current workplace for good. My last day on 31 Jan (am counting down) Anyone wanna buy materials from Mass Media? I'm left with only 2 weeks here. The decision didn't come easy. I've prayed for 6-7mths for God's direction and assurance. This is God led.

3. I've requested for part time work so as to give more time for studies. Praise God for His provision...I'll start work on 5 Feb with Touch Community Service as a Program Executive to conduct Character development programs in schools!! Though part time means pay cut but I'm so excited in this new adventure, looking forward to that!

4. New semester, new classmates... not sure who I will meet. Pray that I'll have good tutors (not those who simply read off the lecture notes!)

5. Ministry changes 1: I've seen how my girls have grown since I led them at Radi8 youth. Their sharing always encourages me! Though Jane's left for 6mths student exchange in States. My other 2 girls went back to their extension church to serve on Fridays. God is faithful! He added 2 new additions to my group (smilez)

6. Ministry changes 2: We're gonna have Young Adults' Ministry too. :) Co-leading with Max; I'm not sure what's in stored for us but I'm expecting great things. It has to be!

7. Ministry changes 3:... Led worship for 5pm service. Ah! I wasn't feeling nervous until the very moment I went on stage. It does feel 'different' standing there. Feels like I'm floating and the congregation seems so small. I just look up and praise Him (controlling my tears)...Wow! God is awesome.

God spoke to my heart few months back and I believe that this whole process of 'GETTING MY FEET WET' really prepared my heart for what God is revealing to me. Tho I negotiate with God for a longer period of R&R (thinking I've stretched myself in worship, cell grp, drama, comedy videos, and musical during good old HCC days) But apparently I can't run away from it. Now I'm all the more convicted that much is given, much is expected.

These changes can only make me shine brighter for Him.
