Windows of opportunties

It's been a long and tiring week. My office having 10 days of Supporters' Appreciation Sales and working on 2 public holidays can be quite a sad thing. Lesser time for yourself, friends n family.
But i did enjoy working for the mid night sale! Meeting the number of people in the showroom and having the opportunity to assist and meet their needs from the wide range of materials really motivates me. But working long hours can be mentally and physical draining.

Sabbath
I'm glad today's my rest day to recuperate from the late night shift.
Service was good, first time having Abriel on stage with the keyboard as he lead. =)

Today's sermon is on Worship: Focusing my attention, Expressing my affection to God and using my abilities for God.

Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into in without even thinking. Instead, fix you attention on God. Romans 8:7 (Msg)

Thank God for speaking to me through this verse. I'm still praying for God confirmation and direction. Let him close the door that's not meant to open and open the door that's according to His will. But sometimes some doors are open not by God. The choice is mine. To obey Him or to satisfy myself. God cant get my attention unless i give it to Him. God cant have my affection unless i respond to Him. God cant use my gifts unless i offer it up to Him.
Though i'm given windows of opportunities but ultimately He should be the one i seek to please. That's my act of worship

After service, went shopping with carlise and reserved a pair of cloud pink corduroy pants. Love at first sight, its v nice n fits me! Went swensen's to satisfy my craving for ice cream and came back in the late afternoon to take a nap. Mum and bro are away on a holiday, dad went out so i've got to prepare dinner, i'm really bad at cooking, though it doesnt look presentable but it's still edible. haha.

juz got a sms that Wagne scores, ManU up by 1 at 7minutes. haha my soccer news reporter really good huh, and it's free! Hope this a hopeful match for Man U?! sad to say they really v lousy nowadays.
