The Day approaches...
Hey everyone, sorry its been a while... yep after the exams have been hectic... but definitely in a fun way!!! i mean after all EXAMS ARE OVER!!! I've been busy going out and all that... last weekend we headed over to Byron Bay again with Isaac and Michelle and Alvin and gang... more fun this time cos we took heaps more group and wacky photos.. though there was any sun in the sky cos it was so overcast... hahaha..
the past week has been interesting too... got munn and norman hooked on warcraft... even managed to milton to join in one game.. =) my hsemates all went over to cairns for diving and they're only coming back on monday. The XLR8 formal on wednesday night was pretty interesting!! =) everyone looked good in all their suits... Clay came with only the top half of a tux.. the bottom was boarders and thongs!! so cool man.. took good pictures of that too.. will post them up in time.. =) also had my sorta farewell dinner on thurs with the guys.. and the one vania at this jap korean bbq buffet place.. so reminded me of seoul garden man!!! though the variety is a whole lot less!! vania and i already plan to meet up in SG for seoul garden! right??!!? Then had XLR8 again just yesterday... really different the way William plays keys.. so jazzy... but its good that he managed to fit in pretty well.. though the team really sounded different.. think I was playing more hard sounds comparatively to previous.. hehehe.. =P
well.. the day is coming... my results are gonna be out soon... how will I do?? By God's grace I will do well... =) December 1st is my official results release!! woohoo!!! and my graduation day is December 15th!!! so exciting... after that... its back to sg... when I'm coming back?! hehehe.. you'll know soon enough... where do I go from here? I'm leaving that in God's hands cos I don't wanna be where He doesn't want me to be... pray for me in this regard yeah? =)

Windows of opportunties
It's been a long and tiring week. My office having 10 days of Supporters' Appreciation Sales and working on 2 public holidays can be quite a sad thing. Lesser time for yourself, friends n family.
But i did enjoy working for the mid night sale! Meeting the number of people in the showroom and having the opportunity to assist and meet their needs from the wide range of materials really motivates me. But working long hours can be mentally and physical draining.
Sabbath
I'm glad today's my rest day to recuperate from the late night shift.
Service was good, first time having Abriel on stage with the keyboard as he lead. =)
Today's sermon is on Worship: Focusing my attention, Expressing my affection to God and using my abilities for God.
Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into in without even thinking. Instead, fix you attention on God. Romans 8:7 (Msg)Thank God for speaking to me through this verse. I'm still praying for God confirmation and direction. Let him close the door that's not meant to open and open the door that's according to His will. But sometimes some doors are open not by God. The choice is mine. To obey Him or to satisfy myself. God cant get my attention unless i give it to Him. God cant have my affection unless i respond to Him. God cant use my gifts unless i offer it up to Him.
Though i'm given windows of opportunities but ultimately He should be the one i seek to please. That's my act of worship
After service, went shopping with carlise and reserved a pair of cloud pink corduroy pants. Love at first sight, its v nice n fits me! Went swensen's to satisfy my craving for ice cream and came back in the late afternoon to take a nap. Mum and bro are away on a holiday, dad went out so i've got to prepare dinner, i'm really bad at cooking, though it doesnt look presentable but it's still edible. haha.
juz got a sms that Wagne scores, ManU up by 1 at 7minutes. haha my soccer news reporter really good huh, and it's free! Hope this a hopeful match for Man U?! sad to say they really v lousy nowadays.

Cats and Dogs, Pigs and Chickens
One 'fine' day in Brisbane...
- 10am: woke up, decided to lay in bed a little longer cos it's so comfortable....
- 11am: finally out of bed, after a quick cereal breakkie, its back to the books, nice sun out this morning...
- 12.30pm: hmm.. sky is getting dark.. wonder if it's gonna rain AGAIN...
- 1pm: adrian's driving us out for lunch, just as we leave the garage, small drizzle turns to humungous downpour... is that hail i see landing on the windscreen?!?!?!
- 1.05pm: hmm, hail seems to have stopped, but rain is still INSANE!! can't see the road, visibility is max 40m out in front... the road drains are flooding... can imagine Munn's garage again being flooded like on Sunday...
- 1.20pm: settled at Toowong Village cos of undercover parking!
- 2.30pm: the rain has stopped! back to home for more work....
- 4.30pm: the small drizzle is back.. with a nice cool breeze... so good for sleeping...
- 5.10pm: leaving the house for cre8ive... as i drive off, small drizzle becomes huge downpour again!! why, why, why... traffic jam along moggill rd...
- 5.20pm: managed to reach Laurel's house, the garage is flooded slightly, not as bad as Sunday... the rain has slowed quite a bit.. now its like normal Singaporean rain... ? The radio reports the storm is heading southwards towards Redcliff area... no wonder the Pacific Motorway's jammed up...
- 6pm: reached church.. rain has slowed down somemore.. nearing drizzle state...
- 8pm: left cre8ive early to study.. its only a small drizzle now.. radio reports the storm is now over the sea and won't trouble the city anymore, numerous power outages reported over 8000 homes affected throughout the duration of the storm, 4000 lightning flashes... what a night... no storms tomorrow, so I can take my exam in one, dry piece... =)
- 11pm: shouldn't it be time for bed? why in the world am i still blogging... hahaha!! =P

Sleepless
I cant sleep... not that i dun want to but i cant because I've got dateline to meet for metamorphosis camp. Still stuck with my worship songs, my mind is sooo blocked basically not functioning i guess. Dear Lord, i'm so deserpate for your help. It's almost 2am in the morning and i am suppose to send out my document to the team yesterday! haiz consider that i only had 5hrs of rest the day before make it worse...oh God!! empower me please! please...

Godly man who seeks advise from above...Bush wins second term 'entering a season of hope' as what he said... Dunno why i'm so into this election, politics?!? my, it's so not me! But somehow just felt drawn to it.

Study study study....
this is gonna be a short blog.. in between my studying time... i still don't really have the mood for studying.. like I just started reading through my notes today, but doesn't seem to be a lot, if any at all, is going in to my head here... how!??!?! oh well.. still have to read through.. my exam timetable is by the side on the calendar, i've got 3 papers this time.. pls pray together with me yeah? thanks and much appreciated!!
the past week has been sort of a rush, nothing to do with studying though... finishing up my last assignment, going Koorong shopping with a whole group of church ppl which was heaps of fun, dinner with Andrew and Winston, XLR8, soccer and swimming on sat morn, Internationals and Youth Alive (which I didn't go cos i was at internationals!) and dinner and Munn's place (thanks shufen for cooking!), the live album recording at our church on sunday!! yeah the week has blown by in an instant man.. now its study week.. darn.. better get back to the books... till after my exams... perhaps?
