Sunday's come and gone!!

the sunday service was really long... ok not that it wasn't good, but it was long.. hehehe... instead of normally ending at 930 for the 1st service, we ended at like 1020am... and I was pretty tired, so it seemed really long.. I managed to pay attention in the 1st service.. but the 2nd service was really struggling to stay awake!! but the sermon was really good... about humility and grace... guess the main thing that I got out of the whole thing was in response to my LONG time ago post on 'Forever Grace'... that grace is not given for you to be able to stay in sin and seek forgiveness... rather that grace is given for us to be able to live the divine and holy life that God requires us to live!! Grace is not given for us so that we can say, "I'm in sin, but God has the grace to forgive me for sinning." but because God is holy, and by our own works and righteousness we can never be able to live the holy life that is required, that is why God's AMAZING grace is given to us!!

after the service, headed down to Cuppage Food Centre for lunch... its an ok place.. definitely not crowded, cos there was still a lot of seats.. hehehe... the food was not too bad either!! Anyways after lunch, found out that huimin was in the area, so went to PS to meet her and abriel too... =) yaay can see her for a while also good lah.. =) walked around spotlight while they were shopping for church deco stuff, then met with the rest of her 'Gang' together with her mum and abriel's dad too! it was nice meeting them, though interaction wise not very conducive lah... guess will take time and a different scenario for interaction!! =)

then I headed home while they went for meeting, and later in the evening had dinner at home with family... then we had our homemade yusheng to lo hei!! hahaha.. it was pretty amusing, cos my parents are pretty funny... they lo then they say all the wierd wierd stuff... shan't elaborate!! anyways dinner was good.. then headed off to my popo's house to visit...

let me tell you... she's one of the most energetic, vibrant and healthy old ladies I've ever seen!!! She's 85.. she looks it, but she over the christmas period went to Vietnam for holiday, then over the CNY period went to Hainan Island to visit her hometown... she's going on holiday or overseas trips almost once a few months... its incredible... and she's a really frail skinny lady too!! the only problem that she's facing is arthritis in the knees, but that's about it!! =) always hear her stories of Hainan Island and Hong Kong and China.. =)

yep that was my day yesterday... didn't update cos I was on the phone with huimin.. by the time finish too late and too tired.. hehehe =) today just came back from sending Natalie off back to Perth... study hard gal!!! Later i'm going out with huimin and sarah to catch a show and dinner probably.. =) ok update when I return!! gbye!!
