Poetry & Shakespeare bedazzledMet up with ruth today, it has been a long while since we met! Aiyah, Still the same Ruthie back den in poly days. It is interesting talking to her (or should i say hear her talk) cause she is like a little girl living in her own imaginative and artistic world. i think it is nice to be part of her world occasionally. Rem the times we talk non-stop, and sing non-stop haha. sometimes i really wonder what is really going through this "little gal's" mind (tho she is older den me..i always see her as a little xiao mei mei)
Enjoyed most listening to her explanations and views on western poetry, Tang and Song poetry, was Very educational indeed
... and narrating the story A Midsummer Night's Dream -- cant remember exactly what she said but I was rather interested to know the story -- thus did some quick search on the net the moment I reached home
Ok in short - Hermia whom was commanded by her dad to marry Demetrius, a young man of a noble Athenian family, disobeyed him, because she loved another young Athenian, named Lysander.. hee hee who is oso in love with Hermia! So sweet rite!? Yup so They escaped from the law which allows Hermia's father to force her into marriage with Demetrius. They decide to elope and marry in secret and set off into the woods) den the rest I forgot!! Anyway it's kinda complicated didn't have chance to fully understand the whole story.. Any literature students? Care to enlighten me on what happened next? - happy ending??
Well I prefer summarized version rather den reading through every chapters! Hee.. I am that lazy.
Yes derek, I will sleep right away, been a long day too ZZzzzzz time for bed
