Goodbye Singapore, Hallo Brisbane!

ok the title sounds quite upbeat and happy.. actually i'm mixed... well of course I'm glad to be heading off somewhere... AWAY FROM ARMY... and going back to studies, going to a new environment, hanging out with new people (some not so new), yet I'm reluctant to leave behind the great friends, a place of familiarity and belonging...

isn't our christian life like that too? how many times we're so afraid of stepping out, moving on, leaping out in faith... but God has so much bigger things for us... on Saturday's Edge service Sis Anna spoke about DREAMING BIG... asking God for BIG THINGS, not to be content with the little growth or the small changes, but to envision AWESOME and AMAZING THINGS to happen when we step out in faith... always reminded of Indiana Jones when he stepped out on the invisible bridge... and today's messages in the 2 morning services were oh so similar, though by different speakers... One on Acts 2 on the day of Pentecost, that it is not a PAST event, but its something that we can look forward to, its HAPPENING NOW!! And the other message sharing all the miracles and the signs and wonders that follow those who believe!! not just evangelists, or pastors, or prophets, but ANYONE who BELIEVES in HIM!!!

Its just so encouraging to hear all these messages, especially now when I'm leaving in 4hrs time... it just reaffirms that God has BIG plans for me... as I head out into unknown territory, He will guide my footsteps, He knows all my needs and He will provide... and I'm just believing for some AWESOME times in Him... of course i'm also praying He'll bless my studies too!! hahaha... =) Pray with me that I might serve Him as He chooses to use me! =)

anyways this is my last post in SG... You'll probably not see this updated until I get my internet account over there, which will be at least a few days, or I use my friend's internet... hehehe =) Brissie here I COME!!!!!
