Day of crapping and fun...
today was really a good day for me.. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole of today... it started out with me not waking up on time of course.. but I still managed to get to church by 745am!! anyways Bro Douglas Cho lead worship today.. not that I'm picky or anything, but you know how just people that don't sing in timing just gets to you?! and you also don't know which direction they're going?! and I was playing the drums!! but thank God that He checked me and reminded me that it's not about how good the worship leader is but how good God is!! and indeed He's AWESOME!!!
the messages were from Ps Douglas Seaward and Ps Mary Seaward in the 8am and the 1030am service respectively... with breakfast at the usual coffeeshop in between of course.. =) anyways Ps Douglas shared on the topic, "It's Hard To Be Humble"... well I must admit that this topic is not new to me, mainly because it has been something that has been on my heart for so so so long... every now and then I really have to check myself and really give God the glory for all the blessings He has given me... today's message just emphasised that for me... =) In the 1030 service Ps Mary shared about Grace.. really short and sharp to the point and it was really good too!!
Service ended about 12pm.. but we slacked around and only left church about 1pm to Beach Rd. Went to meet up with min cos she was joining us for lunch before meeting up with the rest. introduced her to those of the youth who went and it was really crappy over lunch, making fun of kenneth (sorry dude!!) but it was loads of fun.. =) While there after lunch, went upstairs and bought my jacket, before going to play pool! =) won all my matches today.. =) with some panchan from raju.. haha!! after that while the rest went back to church, we headed back home for dinner... which I am so full now.. and which I thoroughly enjoyed...
well when min said I had a happy family while sending her home, I just stopped to think... I guess I haven't really been thankful for my family... every family has their ups and downs, their quarrels and arguments... but yet at the end of the day, they are still family... my dad lectures me more often than not, but yet he shows his love in his own ways... and my stepmum, i'm just really thankful for my stepmum cos I know she loves me a whole lot and treats me like her own.. trying to fill up the space that my mum left behind... even though i not acknowledge her as "mum"... my sis, well she's in her own world seperate of mine.. but still provides some excellent advice sometimes.. =) all in all, i'm thankful for my family... that God put me here and not in a broken home, or a non-christian home... I encourage all of you to take the time to really think about how much your family loves you and cares and is concerned for you... as is said 'Blood is thicker than water'... take some time to pray for your parents, your siblings.. they do need your prayers as well.. =) God bless!! =)
