Animes and Mangas

Currently Listening: X 2003 - Various Artists

Well then, since I've got the time to post today, I thought I would just the list of some the animes and mangas that I'm currently following and recommending from the time I first started watching/reading that fateful day in my room in Brisbane (all thanks to Adrian...)

Naruto

Read the review on Anime News Network
Status: Ongoing
Current Anime Episode: 166
Current Manga Chapter: 290
Download sites: Naruto Central, Naruto Download, Naruto-Kun

My Personal Rating: 8 of 10
The series has been going on for ages... and I don't think the story is even half-way through! The anime still has loads more to catch up to the manga, but the use of filler episodes in the anime is just getting too uninteresting. When the anime begins to match up to the manga storyline then its definitely worth watching! If you're starting out, the starting episodes and storyline will get you hooked!

Bleach
Read the review on Anime News Network
Status: Ongoing
Current Anime Episode: 62
Current Manga Chapter: 210
Download sites: Bleach7, Bleach Community, Bleach Portal

My Personal Rating: 9 of 10
Well, no anime/manga is perfect, but Bleach has got to be one of those that nears perfection. A riveting storyline, fast-paced and action-packed. Although the powers of the zanpaku-tou can be real wierd and quite sci-fi at times... but I'm sticking my eyes to this series!

Bowling King
Read the review on StopTazmo.com
Status: Ongoing
Current Manga Chapter: 107
Download sites: StopTazmo.com, Mangadownload.net

My Personal Rating: 6 of 10
If you're looking for slapstick, hilarious, unbelievable everyday situations or you simply like bowling, then this taiwanese manga should keep you occupied. I'm just reading this for the bowling skills portion.. hahaha...

Team Medical Dragon
Read the review on mangaupdates.com
Status: Ongoing
Current Manga Chapter: 25
Download sites: nexGear manga, Voiea.net

My Personal Rating: 8 of 10
I was just browsing for new manga to read when I chanced upon this series. I think its one of the most riveting series I've read, because its touching on the topic about medical ethics in japanese hospitals. Whether or not the negative statements about the state of japanese hospitals are fictional or not I do not know, but this is one manga worth reading to question moral and ethical issues in medicinal treatments.

Yakitate!! Japan
Read the review on Anime News Network
Status: Ongoing
Current Anime Episode: 51 (I've only watched till Ep 5!)
Current Manga Chapter: 145
Download sites: AnimeSuki.com, Souhaku Scans, Manga Downloads

My Personal Rating: 8 of 10
I first read the manga and found it really interesting. The bread-making techniques and scientific information is explained pretty thoroughly and its made pretty clear... and the reactions to Azuma's bread are typical of most food animes but still entertaining nonetheless.

To all you anime and manga viewers out there, hope this is entertaining to you... if you're not one of them, then too bad cos this is my blog and I can write (almost) whatever I want... hahaha... maybe I'll convert you guys to anime... and I must remind you that they're not just cartoons or comics.. hahahaha

Till my next post...

PS: I've updated the Friends and Favourites links...
