One more day to Friday =)
Watched a video for today's morning devotion on 1 Thess 4:13-18
Pastor Lance Witt made a comment that struck me. Looking at the worship songs of today as compared to the 'olden days' hymns. Modern worship songs are often about the
Here and Now... How many songs were about the hope of Christ's Return and our joy of His coming and us uniting with Him? Are we getting too comfortable with this world that we have kinda neglected the message of living each day like there is no tomorrow.
How would the hope of Christ's return affect the way we measure opportunities, set priorities, and use our resources? *thought provoking* Sometimes I get too busy that i tend to neglect the need to THINK, REFLECT, MEDIATE & APPRECIATE OTHERS & GOD FOR ALL HE HAS GIVEN.
Basically busy the whole day, work, meetings.. work.. meetings again... i want to have a nice break to relax!! Time of go.. yeah.. enjoying my
pop pop sweets.. u know those tiny bits of candy that pops when you put them in your mouth? it has candy floss too! Yummy.. My Onesiphorus bought the sweets for me!!(Read my previous post on 19 Sept if u dun know who Onesiphorus is) *grin* Thank God it's thursday cause tml will be FRIDAY>>>>HAPPY!

True contentment
"Qns: Who's the wealthiest man on earth?
Ans: The one who is contented.
Qns: Who is he?
Ans: No One..."
-the above quoted from
Benjamin Franklin~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth." Matt 5:5
God favors the humble, who trust in him rather than their own strength.
Self-satisfaction and complacency often corrupt our faith in Christ, resulting in wanting more in life in order to feel 'fulfil' but it always fails. True contentment can only be satisfied by placing HIM first. He is EVERYTHING the world can ever offer.

Lame comment
There was a heavy thunder storm 2 nights ago. The thunder was so loud that it woke me more then 3 times ard 2-3am. Haiz woke up with a bad headache. While making my 2nd cup of coffee at the pantry, one lady colleague came back to chit chat so I complained of my sleepless night and the bad weather. And in empathy she said, "oh maybe you are nearer to the sky so the thunder is louder & thus disturbs you." I went like "huh? Erm got such thing meh?" Lame rite?

Whatever You say
'Rude response? I think it really depends on your tone & heart attitude when saying that & to whom you say it to.'
There are many things that are battling within myself sometime i don't even know what they are..It is a horrible feeling that i wish i might as well give up the inner battle but then again this innermost self just wants to prove its point. (so stubborn right?)
I utter a short prayer before I head home "Jesus is my wisdom; show me what's right." And it just encourages me to know that
He always has the right message at the right time for the right person. Just a simple sentence in a book can stand out so vividly to me at that moment where I needed it the most. Out of our busy schedule, all
He really want is our attention to greet, praise, thank and seek
Him.
*verbalizing my thoughts* O Lord, what am I doing? Is there something
You're trying to tell me? Whatever
He say to do,...do it & let me be so conscious of
Your presence. Yes Lord, whatever
You say, help me to do it.
k...i'm going home now. bye!

A sudden storm!
Hi everyone! I'm back again. The past few weeks have been hectic preparing for the worship seminar. I was overwhelmed by the response, registrations pile up to 730 participants! Praise God that everything went well! Worship session was spirited filled, teaching was enriching and the door gift...need i say more..always good to receive freebies! =)
All thanks to Big Daddy's strength and helpful co-workers who gave valuable inputs that made it happen! Due to the overwhelming response we are conducting another one.. yep! Back by popular demand on 22 Oct! This shows that each individual does have a burning passion of refreshing their approach to worship. By now you should know that the title of this post is not about the weather but more so of the unforeseen phenomenon that's taking place!
Last Tues, we attended the opening night of
STOMP @ Esplanade. I would rate the performance -Excellent! What we enjoyed most was the performance using rubber pipes, each pipe produces different pitch that woven in harmony with each other, adding texture to the whole performance. Every portion of the performance just grabs your attention. It's interesting to see how daily utensils can produce musical rhythm in harmony, you would probably get nag by your parents if you start hitting pots and pans in the kitchen! hey these guys are pro..so don't this at home unless u are ready to pay for any damages.
