Why
Some questions running thru my head...
Why does one feels insecure when they already have what they ever needed.
Why does one regret not cherishing the things they have till they lose it.
Why does one has to hold on to their problems so tightly when there's no point holding.
Why does one keep living in their own fantasy and not realising the reality?
Why does one need to be so secretive abt their own life. Building walls; so afraid to let us know... e.g. that u own a car? Sounds silly but i just wonder why.
Back to the issue of The Meeting...
you gave your reasons.. well that's fair enuff. I have the same sentiments too. It's pretty certain that's goodbye for sure.
I'll miss you all, my dear sistas. I am sad to know that we are all moving our own separate ways. But the bond will keep us close...i pray, somehow, it'll b closer...

Rain
Daddy took his son out for a walk. Carrying him on his back like a little backpack.
Stroll through the woods. He brushes his feet among the dead leaves. Enjoying the scent of fresh dew.
Then came little drops of rain. Daddy pulls a little hod over baby. Continue his journey. Curious baby pulled it off. Daddy walks on.
Droplets are getting bigger. Baby doesn't know what's going on. They were getting soaked. Thunders and lightning comes after.
Baby cries. He is terrified.
He cried louder as Daddy walks on steadily. Now Daddy embraced baby close to his arms. His face close to baby's Whispering: "I love you. hey buddy, Daddy knows the way. We are gonna made it." Repeatedly he whispers as baby cries.
Alas they stepped out of the woods and the rain stopped. Baby is still held closed to Daddy. Thinking back, those were the most intimate moment the father and son ever had. As he said the same words to baby. I love you baby, I know the way and We made it. =)
Rain are trials that wear us down, making us terrified and anxious. Losing our sense of directions. Rain will also draw us nearer to Big Daddy. Do you know that He knows the way? and He will bring you out of it.

The Meeting
We came in with the same agenda in mind...
"That's it, I am tired"
"I don't know where to go"
Given up on worrying and rationalising.
I sat there motionless, tired.
I saw her eyes welled up with tears.
Slow my pace in speech as I shared.
I saw her head tilt down, restless.
Sympathize and filled with awkwardness.
At that moment when we are discouraged.
YOU came along and put words in his mouth.
"Well done good and faithful servant
After enduring all these years
It is time to end this chapter
And proceed to greater episodes in life
You have been faithful in the small things
So come my child,
Come just as you are."
I smiled.
For these words are like honey to our bitter soul.
