Christmas!!!
hey everyone!! i'm back!! my trip back was enjoyable, a fond memory that will stay with me... I'm already missing everyone back there!! My graduation was a blast!! it was so much fun.. and having all of my friends there cheering when we got on stage was so cool... in fact think we were the loudest ones there!! hahaha... and I believe the holiday was also good for my parents cos it gave them a time to relax and they didn't have to worry about anything at all but just enjoy themselves.. =)
coming back to sg and enjoying the christmas here... i took a walk with min down to orchard... IT WAS SO PACKED!!!! It's been a long long while since I've had to squeeze along the pavements between so many people.. but the events happening was a good thing to have... hearing the carols and the worship and evangelistic songs and performances being done all along the street was an inspiring sight to behold.
I also had a good time spending the christmas weekend with min with friends and her family as well.. =)
Anyways, the new year is coming... gotta have to start looking for work... that's the sad part.. but hope that I'll be able to get a good job that I can stay with... =)

Another travel back home...
hehehe.. for those of you who didn't know, I've already been back in SG for over a week already.. have been back since 1st Dec... and now I'm back at the airport... why? Cos I'm flying back for my convo.. and also to bring my parents on a short holiday.. even though they're paying for it!! hehehe.. =P anyways what's the feeling now? excitement to see almost everyone again? relief because I don't really need to worry about how to pay.. hahaha!! all in all hope that it will be a good trip!!
Have been really busy with my sis' wedding over the weekend.. but they're an incredibly sweet couple (even though it feels wierd for me to say it!!)... so many romantic moments over the past 2 days.. I really wish them all the best!! alright, almost time for me to board the plane... this is derek returning to brissie, signing off at T2 Macker's... =)
PS: pray that during the 3 HOUR TRANSIT at Brunei I won't be too bored... =P

Life's Little Pleasures...

Sleeping in when its raining,
Splashing water to beat the heat,
Having a cold shower on a hot day and vice versa.
The feel of the fretboard of your dream guitar,
Hearing others sing in tune,
The favourite song of your favourite band.
$2 chicken rice,
The pain of chilli,
Friends calling you for supper,
Having supper.
Getting your hair cut,
Getting your hair cut and washed for $10,
Going home and washing your hair after a hair cut.
Holding the hand of your beloved.
PS: This is not a poem.. at least i didn't make it that way.. hehehehe.. its just little facts that came to my mind today...

Results are good...
My results were pretty good... maintaining my GPA since last semester.. =P so i'm happy with my results hehehe..
oh yeah.. on monday went for surfing lesson with shufen and vania... quite tiring man!! but it was still really very fun!! managed to stand up only once.. the other 2 also only once hehehe but we had a blast! =) After the 3 hrs of surfing, we stayed at the Southport Main beach to tan for another hour... so now i'm tanned!! but i like it.. always liked being tanned.. but i enjoyed spending that day with them.. and then we also met up together with eileen, amy, yy, etc etc for dinner at Fish Lovers... so filling man =) then went to LDV for coffee and talk rubbish.. being entertained by Nelson.. hehehe...
okay.. convo is just over a week away.. i miss brissie and all the friends already!! i'll stop here.. till next time!! =)
