Fridays...
sorry that I didn't update yesterday... was out! =) well I'll update you what happened!! Well yesterday the SUN was out!!! but I didn't do anything about it!! hahaha.. call me lazy! =) I just stayed home and rotted again! Later on went on to church... was playing drums for Desmond! Good songleading brother! =) anyways Ps Pam Seaward shared on Pro 4:20-27 on guarding your heart... not just in keeping the Word in, but also guarding your heart against what goes in through your eyes and what comes out from your heart... cos out of the heart the mouth speaks... so we really have to watch what we come in contact with, and what we speak... so we do not defile ourselves..
after service, had dinner at the place behind the former Tong Tong... the food was alright... very oily though!!! jialat man... hehehe.. but who cares!! just eat!! =) then amy sent me home again! thanks!! =) kekekkee... well then went to meet Huimin and Ivin at PS... sent Ivin home before we went off on our own.. =)
yep that was my day yesterday.... later on there's EDGE!! woohoo!!! =) so exciting man!! =) ok lah till later! gd afternn!! =)

Flight Details
oh yeah.. this is the one thing that I forgot to post yesterday... hehehe.. thanks for reminding me Chris! =) OK I'll be leaving for Brisbane, going to University of Queensland to get my degree in IT... yep I'll be going there just for a year.. actually less than a year.. I'll be back in December.. =) so here's the details!

Music rulez...
i slacked at home again today!! what else is new.. but the rain is so shiok... just felt like curling up to sleep... =) my dad was on leave today... but i didn't know what he did during the day.. he came back home about 4+ in the evening and then I took the car out to go for music practise.. in the meantime went to pick Huimin up from work and drop her off near her place... had dinner alone at the restaurant opposite church... had the Malay fried beehoon.. i think that's probably like the best dish in the place man...
anyways the music practise went on pretty alright... Ps Wilson didn't make it tonight cos his son and daughter are both ill... drummer Chandran also was sick... pls pray for them... yeah so today I covered drums so it didn't sound so empty... we just covered a few songs... Glory by Hillsongs in E, then It's Your Blood for communion in A and Above All in F... the last 2 were just different key songs cos we normally played in C and A respectively...
After practise me, Raju and Michelle went for coffee.. I had tea, cos I didn't feel like coffee today... then was contemplating whether to eat or not... decided to just have bread instead... =) shall not pig out... it was a good coffee table chat... we called Max over in Jakarta too and had a chat with him.. poor thing always kena pull go overseas at the last minute.. apparantly that's how the company works.. hehehe =) gonna pull him go out when he comes back man!! hahahaha...
yeap and now I'm home... well tomorrow is youth!! i just thought of it and its the first time i'm going for friday youth this year!! wonder what i've been doing the past 2 fridays.. hehehehe.. =) ok watch this space for some major changes... =) got some new additions in the works.. =) till tomorrow gdnite!!!! =)

Another Rainy Day... with Pasta and Mudpies
Off I went for Melvin's farewell dinner... I went to meet Huimin at her office... it only rained like when I got there loh!!!! irritating... luckily I brought my umbrella... she brought hers too, and then we headed off to meet the rest at Orchard... everyone was late!! hahaha... luckily we bumped into Melvin while walking around in Wisma... then headed to NYDC at Wheelock Place for dinner... then the rest came... 6 of us, Winnie, Wensi, Joanna, Melvin, Huimin and myself... well Winnie, Wensi and Joanna had some oven-baked stuff, Mel and Huimin had pasta and I had a sandwich!! hahaha.. ok it was alright.. the bread was nice.. but the filling was pretty normal... chicken with salsa.. won't say its fantastic... but the oven-baked rice was nice... probably I'll get that next time... =) after that we had the mudpies for dessert... Huimin and I shared the Cookie Monster mudpie, Joanna and Melvin shared the Irish Cream mudpie, and Wensi and Winnie shared the Mocha Almond I think.. some almond thingy.. hehehe.. =) that was pretty good.. =) but the brownie I ate the last time was solid!! hehehe... still think a hot brownie with ice cream is HEAVEN!! hehehehe...
After dinner and dessert, talked for a bit... good to catch up with all of them... anyway Melvin's leaving later than me loh!!! Actually only 1 day later lah... hehehe... ok i'll announce the details of my flight... in the mail that I'm sending out later.. hehehe... which I'll post tomorrow.. kekeke then we left for home... I sent Huimin back home first before taking 72 back home from her home... the wait for the bus was atrocious man!! it took 15mins for the bus to come man!! but the trip was faster then taking 27... probably I'll take that bus next time... =)
well and finally i'm home... tomorrow is another day.. hopefully got NO RAIN!! so i can go exercise... then going for music practise later in the evening... =) ok till tomorrow everybody! gdnite!!

I see dead people...
Today I slacked again... mostly because it RAINED again!!! my gosh when is it gonna stop raining man... its horrendous!!! I wanted to go for exercise, either run or swim, but I couldn't do any of it!!! It like rained then stopped for 10mins and then rain again... just dampens the mood... but anyways! when i left to meet huimin at her office it didn't rain, so that was a good thing... and luckily it didn't rain the rest of the night...
we went to go catch bodyworlds at the expo!! well its until the 8th of feb, if you go from 10am-12pm and 6pm-8pm, its 50% off!! ok so we went in... well its not as gross as you might think... its really not very bad loh... you see the first few displays and you get interested in how its done, and the internal organs, arteries, bone structure, muscle organisation, etc.. but after that they all look the same, its just how they are cut up and what is displayed... =) and the really bombastic medical terminology didn't help much too... well I guess we were kinda hungry when we went in... cos we were basically looking at the bodies and going "ooo chicken... kambing soup... kuay chap... bak kut teh..." hahahaha!! sadist right?!?! couldn't help it... even huimin's stomach was grumbling loh!!! but it was still interesting... we took about 2 hrs to walk through the entire thing.. even though you would think its a pretty small exhibition at first... probably the only most disturbing part was the displays on the deformed foetuses... man that was really very sad... that's why they had the notice that the following displays will affect your emotions... hehehe.. BUT I still recommend those who are interested in biology and stuff to go... i mean its really a display of God's awesome design and creation... the design of the human body alone, how can anyone refuse the existence of an AWESOME and CREATIVE GOD?!?!! He's just amazing!!
anyways after that we ate some bread that I brought along... then went to eat at the Tampines Central Food Court... huimin had her yong tau foo again, while I ate the bak chor mee... then waited for my dad to get home before sending her back... =)
yeah that's basically my day today! tomorrow is another day.. its melvin's farewell party at orchard, he's going to melbourne... ok lah time to rest.. =P till tom!! gdnite!!

A day of rest... and rotting... and rooting soon...
Today I slacked... and slacked... and slacked... its amazing how much i can slack in one day.. hehehe... =) I woke up at 12 today.. the weather was just awesome man!! I so didn't want to wake up, but I did anyways... =) then I just sat in bed with the computer on and went online... did some surfing, rotting, chatting, sms-ing... in other words, nothing much!!! that's why I said I could grow roots soon in bed...
later in the evening went to meet Joshua and Boon Tiong to go for the maths lesson... I was pretty reluctant to go, but rather than stay and rot further at home, decided to go anyways... sat through the first half of the lesson... boon and me were like struggling to stay awake.. HE'S STILL SO BORING!!!! the lecturer's killing me man.. literally... apparently he doesn't teach maths but electrical engineering at SP... so he can't really teach maths.. hehehe... I dozed off a couple of times.. thankfully I didn't start snoring, though I seriously felt like it!!! Anyways I still managed to get Joshua to understand the concept.. not bad right?! sleep also can understand.. hahaha!!! so we left at the break and headed to Far East for dinner...
We were looking for some chicken cutlet shop.. supposedly very gd according to Joshua, but we didn't manage to find it.. either that or it was closed... so we ended up eating at some chinese shop... had curry chicken rice... which is something I don't normally eat, but the curry was good.. =) very nice to eat.. =P then headed home..
well tomorrow is another day of rotting... hope the sun is out so i can swim.. or maybe i'll go running... =) evening I'll be going with huimin to see bodyworld!!! yes that gruesome yet interesting display of live human bodies and their internal organs etc...kekeke... =) will tell u about it tom!! =) gdnite ppl!!!!

And on the seventh day they rested...
And so I did... for the 1st time in a long long time, I actually spent a lot of time at home today compared to other sundays.. =) anyways I woke up at about 630 to prepare to go to church for 1st service... reached church at 730am and attended the 2 services.. today's speaker was Rev. Dr. Joshua Yee and he shared about being the vessels God can use... just to summarise, he mentioned 5 ingredients to make you a vessel that God can use all taken from Isa 61.

after the 2 services, headed over to Wisma to have lunch... ok I don't think I'll ever go there again... there isn't a lot of food... and the prices were somewhat expensive too... =) anyways after lunch we split from there, some went to play CS, I followed the others shopping for a while, but was kinda tired so I decided to head home... so I reached home about 345pm.. talk about early man... that would explain all the quizzes I did below... hehehehe...
anyways later in the evening went with my family, including my sis and her fiance, for dinner at Tampines Mall Cafe Cartel... then I realised that Cartel don't accept SAFRA card or TAPZ card for 10% disc anymore!! good thing I had the UOB debit card... so still managed to get disc.. hehehe... had the pork ribs.. yumyum!! that's the good thing about cartel.. the portions are big!! and the free flow of really nice bread... hehehe... =P ok i'm pigging out... cannot must stoP!!!! hehehe.. well decided to blog early today so that I can sleep early... but whether I do so or not is another thing.. kekeke... =)
ok hmm I'm still wondering if I should go for the maths lesson tomorrow.. maybe I'll just go and then leave again after the break... he's so boring.. hahaha!!! =P ok then i'll leave the rest till tomorrow.. hehehe.. =) gdnitez!!!!

Happenings!!
Sorry that I didn't update yesterday... well that's because I have been out since yesterday... I shall run through what went on the past 2 days.. =)
Friday
Today was a boring day... yeah normally my 2nd day of new year would be very free anyways, so it was no different this year.. I was rotting at home... only woke up at 11+ then met up with Amy and Melissa for lunch.. well only ate with Amy for lunch cos Melissa was late.. well I was late too.. hehe. =) later met Melissa at Starbucks then together with Benson went to watch The Last Samurai! Man that is a SOLID SOLID show... probably one of the best shows that's coming out this year man!!! I must admit that it felt draggy at one point... but that's about the only downside... it gives great insight into the warrior code of the samurai and the cultures of the olden japan which if you look closely enough can greatly improve society as a whole... really a very interesting show!! so many hidden values.. =)
after the movie had dinner with Mel and Amy at BK... hehehe.. fast food the whole day man!! yep then we all went home... and I got the car and drove back to Suntec... cos I went to watch midnight show with Huimin.. Peter Pan!! Ok for those of you who think that Peter Pan is like a movie for kids like Brother Bear... well you're HALF-RIGHT!!! actually I find that this is another good show to watch... the way the movie was filmed and also the storytelling is very good... very good compared to Hook... and for a more or less unknown cast, they really did very well... =) 2 shows are recommended!!! then we went to East Coast to thorn until about 6am then headed home...
Today
after just 4 hours of sleep, headed off to church for music practise for tomorrow's service... it went pretty well.. =) after that had lunch opposite church before going back to church to Raju's room to sleep! hehe.. his bed quite comfortable!! =) had another good 3 hrs of sleep.. before we went to meet Youxin, CJ, Amy, Rowena, Eugene and Benson at Marina Square... well we were actually planning to go for the River Hongbao but IT KEPT RAINING!!! It's been raining the whole day.. even since yesterday!!! so in the end, we decided to go to Amy's house for a round of 'dry swimming' before heading home... yeah that was my day.
well tomorrow's Sunday!! and I'm on duty, so I'm gonna rest liao... its another long day tomorrow! =) hehehe.. well till tomorrow!! gdnite everyone!! =)

Itchy hands go unscratched...
Came back from dinner at my aunt's place about an hour ago... well the food was good this year.. esp the curry fish that my aunt cooked.. woohoo!! hehehe.. yeah then sat around the television... learnt some card tricks.. hahahah!! cos my young cousins got a card tricks set together with trick cards.. you can actually know what the cards ah from the back of the card.. hehehehe... and some other stuff which cannot be revealed... =)
anyways we catched Lao Fu Zi on tv as well as watched the premiere of American Idol! It was so funny man... hahahaha... yeah then we actually wanted to play mahjong.. but my uncles and auntie decided to play also.. and they play serious money one.. so we never play... so sad... kekekee... after watching them finish one full round, then we left and headed home...
ooo and I also found out that my cousin's girlfriend is from TP and she recognised me when she came tonight.. hahahha.. small world.. =) yepp.. anyways tomorrow is a more free day.. gonna go out... wonder what to do.. kekeke.. ok lah! =) till tom! gdnite!!! =)

Happy CNY!!
1st half of visiting is over... in the morning was awakened by the sound of my uncle dropping by to visit... so had to hurry a bit in washing up and changing then going downstairs to say gong xi fa cai.. hahaha.. yep then headed off to one of my grandma's place... there had the once a year henghwa mee suah... very nice... every year my grandma will cook that for everybody to eat loh.. yumyum... then at about noon headed over to another grandma's house.... I'm closer to her cos she used to pop by house long long time ago when I was still like a primary school kid and babysit and stuff.. go to my childhood church together and all... =) yep and meeting all my cousins who are getting married one by one... hahaha... I just thought of it.. after my sister will be another cousin then come to age liao... stress!! but of course that shouldn't be a concern! anyways playing with my grandma's 5 dogs too.. yes 5! 2 parents n 3 kids.. kekeke... they're just eager to eat... greedy bums.. kekeke... well ok I'm going to sleep now... later going to another grandma's hse.. on my stepmum's side.. then going to my auntie's hse for dinner again... then probably mahjong.. without $$.. kekeke!! ok lah! till tom! =)

Family... the love and the squabbles
went for my reunion dinner tonight at my uncle's house... ok it was pretty alright meeting up with my aunties and my cousins.. but not all of them came at first... the married cousins all came later after dinner... good to see my little nieces... got 4 of them.. hahhaha.. and one little nephew... they're all like pri 3 and younger.. anyway, had a good dinner.. very full cos got a lot of food but nobody eat... then watched LOTR: The Two Towers on DVD... while the older people had their usual family talk.. but sadly ended up into an argument between 2 of my aunties... then I was reminded.. what is family without love... without the usual sibling squabbles... being an adult does not excuse siblings from the usual quarrels you know... we are after all still humans... but I guess growing up and raising kids makes you a matured person somesort and they go beyond the normal squabbles and rantings to a new level of "siblinghood"... hehehehe... oh well..
just some food for thought... =) anyways tomorrow's a busy day!!! happy new year everyone!!! =) gdnite!!

Shopping again!??!
yes.. guess what... during lunch, I shopped again!!! well this time under the influence of my father... went to Century Square and popped by the Buy-And-Throw-Away shop... well they always have cheap shoes!!! and so I bought one for myself!!! was looking at a khaki colour one but there wasn't any size.. so in the end bought this one instead!!!
nice right?!!? i was wanting to put this kind of shoe on my wishlist too.. but I don't have to anymore!! well anyways yeah then headed off for lunch.. and the century square foodcourt had no food left!!!! but met Eunice there, she was having lunch with her friend.. hehehe.. just popped a hi and went on to Tampines Mall food court... and met Kenneth on the way! He was gonna watch The Last Samurai!!! I so want to watch man... anyways at least the TM food court had food.. kekeke...
then came back and did more chores... brought in the mats from drying, changed my bedsheets and pillowcases, did some sewing (UNBELIEVABLE RIGHT?!?!!), and I think I'm finally done for the day!!! I hope anyway!! Gonna go for reunion dinner in about 2hrs time... well then, till later again!! i'm so free to blog hor u all wonder.. kekeke.. bye!

Woes of Area Cleaning...
afternn everyone!! I was woken up by my dad this morning... ok about afternoon... it was in fact just nice at 12pm.. hehehe... yeah he got me up to help him with the chores cos my mum is working today... so no choice.. he nag somemore then I got up.. washed up, then straight away got to do work liao... changed the tube for the ceiling bulb in my room, cleaned up my bed tables, washed up the kitchen mats and floor... and only now then going for lunch!! darn.. this is the one reason I dun like CNY... family's all grumpy and naggy for cleaning and not wearing proper clothes and nice and new attire..
BLEAH!!! everything is all about image... its so artificial really.. why can't it be like it used to be... with everybody just eager to meet up with relatives and share their lives with each other... without needing to care for how should I impress them and dressing up and such... ok time for lunch.. blog again later.. bye!

well last night I did something really really stupid and selfish.. I really didn't know what I was thinking... I just feel really really bad and stupid... I still do even now... you know who you are and I'm really very sorry again... pray for me pls...
Fireworks, Chinese Culture and City Hall
today I woke up abt 12pm... then slacked the whole day.. wanted to go swimming.. but the sun wasn't really there.. and I was lazy.. hahaha!! so I slacked around online, surfing net, reading blogs, chatting.. before leaving the house at 4pm to go over to meet my dad at his office to pick up the car.. =) After dropping him off at the MRT, proceeded down to pick Huimin up from her workplace for dinner... yep I was gonna go with her to River Hongbao 2003... before that had dinner at Swensen's over at Funan... she tried out the Longevity Snapper which was black pepper noodle with fried fish thing.. and I had the Prosperity Pineapple Rice which was pineapple rice with cheese, ham, sotong, oysters and crayfish... it was pretty bad.. I think Swensen's should stick to the Western cuisine man... and they had the lucky angbao thingy.. and we both got the Prawn Dippers for $2.80 coupon.. we thought it was free at first, but after careful reading it's actually pay $2.80 for the thing.. so we were like wah liao.. so cheapo and deceiving loh.. =P kekeke.. well I had a $20 voucher to finish, so I treated her to that loh.. hehe...
after that took a quick walk down to the River Hongbao where we managed to catch the fireworks!!! pretty short, but still very nice cos we were like almost under it.. i think anyway.. here's some pics...
yep then we walked around the place a bit.. some interesting artists, like dough-modelling of a person... others more boring like the act seh calligraphy person... also got introduced to the game of riddle-guessing.. hehe.. improve my sense of chinese culture a bit.. hahaha.. yeah then got to see some lion dance, dragon dance, stilt-walkers stunts, acrobatics and other stuff.. had some tea eggs as snacks too!! hehe... but the amusement area was a let-down.. cos have to pay to go in.. its $3.. i see the price only I dun want to go in liao... not that i'm cheapo or anything, but why pay to go see what I can ride??!! so irritating.. so we left the place about 920pm or so and took a walk along the river... found a stretch called the Queen Elizabeth Walk.. just down from Victoria Theatre, also very nice place... its a couples place lah mostly..
anyways we walked on until we settled down at the steps in front of City Hall building opposite the Padang and just talked... and I taught my first lesson in Drumming 101... hahaha... sounds so School of Rock right?! kekeke... go back and practise ah!!! yeah then close to 11 we decided to head back home...
OK I told Huimin I was gonna put this in my blog... so here it is!! I had parked my car at Funan, so we walked back then the whole building was closed!! So i was thinking ok maybe got some staircase open, but NO! apparently all the staircases all locked at 11pm!! then the shutters to the entrance of the carpark was also closed!!! I was thinking that's it man... hope my car not clamped or stuck in the carpark man!!! we walked around the front of the building, can't find any place to enter... in the end walked about one round around the building and saw the exit... with the shutters open!!! so we managed to get to my car from there... and the machine was still working so I wasn't stuck in the building!!! yeah!!! lesson learnt: dun park in funan at night... hahaha!! esp if u gonna leave ur car in there after 10pm...
yep managed to get out and then sent Huimin back home before I came back... =) tom I will slack!!! hahhaha... only got reunion dinner in the evening at my uncle's place on my dad's side... but probably have to spend the afternoon tidying up the room and changing bedsheets.. hehehe.. till tomorrow.. which is actually today.. gdnite!!!

Monday Blues... Wet blues...
My today was very much dampened... both figuratively and literally... as you know, I went to meet up with Samantha and Syafiq today to go Sentosa!! Sam made lunch for us, which was a really big chicken sandwich... =) THANKS!! it was really nice of her and it was good too!!! Was pretty excited to go tanning... and there was pretty good sun when we arrived... After about a half hour later, the sun was gone... another hr passed and it started drizzling!!! We were like.. MAN!!! so we shifted from the coconut trees over to the shelter... and played daidi in the shelter, while it just kept drizzling and drizzling and drizzling.. played until we decided to just huddle and take a nap.. hehehe.. Me and Sam slacked while Syafiq had to study for his basic theory of driving... the rain eased off a bit at around 4pm, but the altogether wet weather just spoilt everything... then we showered and left, took the monorail for a trip then was already 530pm, so we headed back to mainland!
Sam and I had an early dinner over at the Seah Im food centre... then an angmoh tourist couple came and asked what we were eating cos they found it interesting.. hehehe... well Sam and I had a good chat and catching up the entire day.. =) I'm glad that I could meet up with her after a long while... =)
anyways after that we split at Dhoby Ghaut and I headed off for my maths lesson... and it was raining in Orchard!!! man my head was today either wet by sea water, or rain water.. mostly the latter.. it was wet the whole day!!! =P well I left halfway through the lesson, for a few reasons...
No.1: they had already finished through the first set of notes and were going on to the second, which was more on the engineering side and had no particular application to me.. well none of the maths had any application to my course anyway...
No.2: the following lectures are being taught by this lecturer from Singapore Poly.. he can't teach for nuts!!! I understood more from the notes then what he explained... I think most of the ppl were more confused by his explanation.. hahaha.. so I left... =)
No.3: they already printed out my cert and already given out liao.. kekeke...
Yep so I came home early and took my shower... need to wash off all the salt man.. kekekeke... =) well tomorrow gonna walk around the River Hongbao.. =) got fireworks tomorrow!! =P hopefully there will be sun tomorrow and I can go swim and tan before I go out!!! hehehee... i seem very desperate to tan hor.. hahhaha.. =) ok then! till tom! gdnite!!

Feels like a long long day...
hehehe.. somehow everyday feels long don't u think??? well that kinda shows I THINK i'm making pretty much full use of the time that I have left in Singapore.. hehehe.. can't believe that I'm actually gonna ORD in a month's time... and I'm also gonna leave the country for my degree... its really unbelieveable... in the blink of an eye, from poly freshman to graduate, from student to army personnel, from blur RECRUIT to commissioned officer, from young junior officer to established not so junior officer, from officer to ORD... man its been a real trip man!!! and now soon to embark on another journey... its exciting man!!
anyways I didn't go for 8am service this morning.. well mainly cos if I went I would only have gotten 3 hrs of sleep.. dun be deceived by the blog time yesterday, I actually only wrote that entry at 230am... but changed the date to be reflective of the day i'm talking about.. =) anyways yeah and I would be pretty much zombified during service, so I decided against it and went for 1030am service with my parents... today Rev Raymond Mooi, founder and principal of School Of Acts came and shared for our Mission Faith Pledge sunday... for those of you who don't know, that's an A/G program to challenge us to pledge a certain amount of money each month to the service of missions programs all over.. anyway he shared a pretty long message on us being the LIGHT of the world, that we got to let our LIGHT shine and that the candlestick makes the light effective and we got to make use of every opportunity, every chance to make our Light SHINE for CHRIST!!
the message was long... ended service about 130pm... then we headed off to the midpoint orchard food court... when we were there, then I was reminded about the $7.50 sushi buffet!!!! seeing it was cheap, and I probably won't go for another sushi buffet anytime soon.. I got Kelvin to eat with me.. hehehe... both of us having the larger-than-other-peoples appetites, we whacked man... later those that came by bus came in.. and most of them joined in too.. so we had Kelvin, myself, Benson, Cecilia and Raj, Abigail, Josiah and Jeremiah all having the buffet, leaving Youxin, Amy, Samuel, Amos and Cassandra having the normal foodcourt lunch... hehehe... the spread was alright... enough for u to be full once you've tried everything...
after that I found out that I was playing for 5pm.. so after roaming in Robinson's for a bit, sat in Amy's car to go back to church first.. =) Ps Raymond also shared again in this service... but surprisingly he shared the exact same message as this morning!! yeah so me and Amy were writing little notes to each other throughout the service.. cannot talk mah.. hehehe... we were both kinda bored and sleepy... hahaha.. that's young people for u... yeah then after the service had a drink with Raju, Cass, Amos, Amy, Michelle, Rebecca and Justin Garnell. Yep rebecca is michelle's sister.. back from perth.. after a long long long time.. i think anyway.. then Justin came down to church to see rebecca.. long time never see him too... only met up with his father the last time I was at New Creation...
then Amy sent me back home... thanks sis!!! you are really appreciated, though I think your monkey doesn't feel so.. hahaha!! I'll see u more again in Aus anyway!!! we can go driving to Gold Coast to tan.. hahaha!! if I can get $$ to get a car.. hahaha.. u provide?!?! kekeke.. ok lah.. tomorrow's another long day.. but GOOD!! going to SENTOSA!!! then got Maths lesson at night... ok then!! till tomorrow!! gdnite!!! =)

Long long day...
Today was woken up at 1030am by my dad... cos we had to go down to Maybank to apply a supp card for me.. =) Its just a backup in case I run out of money when I go overseas.. which I SO HOPE doesn't happen... I'm kinda worried for my parents as well, cos they keep getting concerned with monetary issues, which makes me kinda wonder how financially taxed we are... so I'm just praying I don't tax them any further.. my school fees with the rising Australian dollar is bad enough as it is man...
anyways after applying the card, had a simple char siew roast pork lunch, then showered, got changed and headed off to church! Today had to go early to rehearse for the skit we're putting up for Edge today... I felt we did pretty alright, though it was a really big rush after worship and then they suddenly announced that we were on, but we hadn't finished getting ready yet... but praise God everything went smoothly today... and it really tied in together with what Sis Grace shared on God being the healer of your broken hearts, your disappointments... and the altar call was really good.. seeing young people just pouring their hearts out to God and surrendering them to Jesus... its awesome man...
after Edge, my parents were waiting downstairs, but I stayed for a while for CJ to cut cake before I left... then headed off to my grandma's place (my stepmum's side) for early reunion dinner.. good to see them again after some time... but never got really close to my cousins and all... after all I don't really see them much too!!
Anyways after dinner, took the car and met up with the rest of the ITASSC gang at RockyMasters at Seah St. Great to see Jason Neo again after so long!! He's always the crap talker.. full of nonsense really.. but very entertaining!! hahaha.. yep then sent Joanne, Ricia, Daniel and Jason Chee back home before coming back... had to make a pit stop at Mobil for gas.. ehehe...
Yep, well luckily tomorrow I'm not on duty... but i just might make it for 8am service tomorrow.. see whether I can wake up or not!! hahaha.. =) ok then! till tom gdnite!!

More Binging!!!
let's start from the start of the day... was woken up thrice this morning... once by Esther who was confirming the movie time, 2nd by Jason who informed me that I'm on duty tomorrow, and third by Allan who told me that I got to go back to camp to do the financial declaration cos today is the last day!! yeah I had no choice but to wake up and prepare to go back camp... wasted my noon just heading back to camp and in 15mins I was done with the declaration...
Later met Esther and her classmates at Suntec to watch School Of Rock!! that's my 3rd show this week man!!! I think I got to cut down.. hahaha.. but School of Rock was entertaining!! It was quite funny too!! Altogether it just showed how much potential lies within young people... all we need to do is to unlock that potential and man they can change the world!!! In the same way, I hope I can serve to unlock God's potential in people's lives and bring them out to change the world for Christ!!! woohoO!!! It was also good going out with Esther, her being my blue moon best friend and all... hahaha!! its still amazing how we got to be friends and how we can communicate pretty well amidst not frequently seeing or talking to each other.. hahaha!!!
After that, the girls headed home while I rotted at Borders, continuing to read Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of The Ring... man there's so much detail in the book... I'm only still where Frodo hasn't even left the Shire yet!!! but it was time to go... and so I
WALKED!! yep I walked from Borders all the way to Cuppage Terrace, Rice Table... I reached there just nice at 730pm... hehehe... well today my S3 treated us to the meal... I probably won't get to see him again.. which is not necessarily a bad thing? hahaha!! well the dinner was good.. as is Rice Table of course.. hehehe... and in the end he gave us a letter of commendation.. good use for resume in future.. hehehe..
I was feeling really full after dinner... but went to meet up with Royston, Qunt and Nicholas for a while together with Allan and Cpt Goh before I left them and headed home... also cos they were going for a drink and I don't drink and I don't like pubs/bars/clubs either... Nicholas is leaving tomorrow for his studies in Aus... gonna do Vet Science but he needs to do his foundation course first cos he was a business student.. hehehe...
Tomorrow is a long day.. only just found out that the reunion dinner for my mom's side is tomorrow and not sunday!! gotta rearrange my schedule again... there goes billy bombers for dinner!! hahaha.. save money!! =) well I'm excited cos there's Edge tom!!! I like playing for Edge.. so much fun... =) I bet Brisbane City Church (BCC) will be just as fun!!! hehehe... ok then till tom!! =) gdnite!!!

Relaxation before the Drain...
Today was a relaxed day... especially after such a big meal yesterday, I needed to exercise today.. so I woke up about 1130 today.. slacked around the house a bit and had my usual microwave lunch... chicken bolognaise.. courtesy of 7-eleven... hehehhe... then I started looking for goggles... well my family hasn't gone swimming in ages... and I haven't used goggles in ages too, but I felt like I need to start wearing them again, if not my eyes are gonna get real dry and tired for the lesson at night... so I went over to Royal Sporting House.. bought myself a pair of Speedo goggles for about $17.. SAFRA card got discount.. hehehe...
then headed to SAFRA to swim... didn't want to go TP cos its further and also cos I can get free towel at SAFRA.. hehehe.. in the meantime went to pick up goodies from the clubhouse.. too bad they ran out of Lemontree Restaurant vouchers.. but I still managed to get one of those aluminium mugs that I can use for like office and stuff!! then went to swim... actually wanted to do about 20laps, but I didn't really have a lot of time.. and I was still aching from tennis (yeah excuses right?!) so I stopped after 12 laps.. then just laid on the deck chair and tanned myself... it was definitely refreshing to just lie there, nobody to disturb you, and tan... gives u time to relax, think about stuff... =)
headed home after the swim, had a quick dinner at Burger King before zooming off to maths lesson... today got to know some people... mainly Young, Gauss, Jacobi, Newton, Raphson, Pythagaros etc etc.. man I'm starting to wonder why they developed all their theorems... headache only!! what Zxy = Zyx, X2=X1-f(X1)/f'(X2)... all these things never touch before one loh... differentiation, integration, multivariable differentiation, matrices, matrix equations, etc etc... argh!!! help!!! hahahaha... luckily I don't need to take engineering maths AT ALL man!!! hehehe...
well tom having ORD dinner... my S3 treating!! yeah!! but we got to buy him a coffee maker.. hahaha!! well ok its late.. prepare for some added stuff to my sidebars.. man so many things I want to add.. almost endless list.. hehehe... slowly lah ah... well till tomorrow!!! =) gdnite!!

Pigging out and Muscle Aches
I woke up this morning really aching... aching from my tennis game... esp my left bicep and my left shoulder... well that's what you get for playing racket games with your left hand while you're right-handed... Yes in case some of you don't know... I'm a right-hander that plays racket games with my left hand and plays soccer with my left foot... when I was younger I used to wonder why that was so... as I grew up it dawned on me... cos my dad is left-handed... and that's the way he taught me.. hehehe... so I picked up left-handed playing... =) amazingly, my elder sis plays with her right hand... oh well.. =)
anyways I spent today with Eunice... its great seeing her again after like almost a year... hehehe... had Marche for lunch at 1pm... and also used up the $10 Marche voucher that I got for christmas... well I had a good time catching up with her, talking about a lot of stuff... trying to debate when we first got to know each other, when we first met... which up till now I still don't remember!!! when we first met I mean... hahahaa.. eunice u got to send me the photos... well I've known her for 5+ years already...
anyways after lunch we decided to go see if we could catch a show, cos she was only meeting her friend at 7pm in the area... and we managed to get tickets for the french movie Love Me If You Dare... but we had an hour to kill before the show, so we went shopping cos she needed to look for her new year clothes... in the meantime she bought a handphone pouch... then shopped one round at heeren annex...
Love Me If You Dare is NC-16 in case you didn't know, and the show was... as were all the french shows that I've seen so far... kinda interesting... yet wierd in its own way... the show is about 2 out of place individuals (1 male 1 female) and their growing up process... they have in their possession this box and they play dare with that box... whoever has the box can dare the other person to do anything they say... which leads them on really crazy and mischievious acts in school and even growing up... daring each other to keep doing wierd stuff... which in some cases is NC-16... and this leads them on roller-coaster journeys of love with each other and other people as well... and also causes them to go their seperate ways... ok the ending is just plain warped... but i shall not say it here... go watch it urself.. but i think the run is ending soon... but both eunice and i think the same... that french movies always like to go into the dreamworld... drifting into this imaginary place and leaving the audience wondering which is real and which isn't... (e.g. Amelie, Swimming Pool)
After the movie... we still had about 2 hours.. so we did more shopping!! this time headed off to taka and wisma area... after which settled down at wisma coffee club express.. haven't been there before so was surprised to see the interesting architecture i.e. the wierd "enclosed" cushioned area... had a Iced Latte and then it was time to go...
so I sent her to meet her friend at Singtel Comcentre before heading back home via the train... Bad time though, cos it was peak going home period... had to mish mash with all the working ppl...
and yep so I'm home... wow didn't realise I write so long.. hehehe... anyways tomorrow is a free day... anybody free for lunch or anything?!?! hahahaha.... well i got lessons tomorrow night.. so another brain drain session... ok then I shall stop here.. till tomorrow!! gdnite!!

Tired..
today is a tiring day... mainly because I got my exercise!! hehehe.. yeah it also goes to show how long I haven't been exercising!! well let's start from the very beginning... well after talking on the phone until 3am last night, I set my alarm at 10am, but was so sleepy.. didn't wake up until 1030... then quickly got changed and left the house to meet amy, ro, max and benson for lunch at Heartland Mall there... cos ro's working in the area, so caught her for lunch lah.. =) also met Vera and her parents there...
After lunch, rotted at amy's house for some time before they dropped me off at novena so that I could head off for my tennis game with connie at yio chu kang squash and tennis centre. Reached there just in time... =) the sun was up, weather was good... I had a ball of a time.. hehe... literally... tennis balls to be exact... well her brother also joined in.. think he had tennis lessons.. he's pretty good.. hehehe.. as for me?? i haven't played tennis in years!! well we played for 2 hours.. and I was really burned out by then... so tired man!! my legs were aching sorta, and my arm too... man luckily i did some stretching if not i would really be aching now..
after tennis, had a quick shower and then headed to orchard... had a macdonald's dinner alone.. tried the double fillet-o-fish meal thingy... came with the NEW mandarin orange pie... man that was REAL SWEET... literally... but it still tasted edible... so I finished it.. hehehehe...
then came the lessons... learnt more new maths stuff... but now i'm practically almost brain drained again... well i'm going to rest liao.. tomorrow afternoon meeting eunice for lunch for catchup... =) ok till tomorrow... gdnite!!

A day passes by again
Well today was a slack day... hehehe i woke up at about 1230pm... was woken by Connie's sms wanting to play tennis... hehehe in the end we decided to push it tomorrow afternoon... anyways I was busy just lying on my bed and surfing the net and chatting online...
after that went out for Mona Lisa Smiles... man its a good show!! Well its got an artistic flair to it, (other than the fact that its featured a lot of art!) like it had a lot of pointers and statements about life and how you are living it... well Rowena was feeling cold through the show and Amy's stomach was grumbling.. hahaha!!! Yep so we went to have dinner after the show at NTUC foodfare... nothing much was open but left with some cooked food stall... so we had szechuan chicken rice and claypot rice.. after that then headed home...
that was my day today... i'm gotta go for lessons tomorrow night.. so hope I don't fall asleep.. esp after the tennis game tomorrow.. hehe =) well finally gonna get some exercise!!! till tomorrow!!

Sunday Morning...
This morning, I woke up on time! at least I didn't fall back asleep after my alarm rang!! hehehe... well the worship by bro nicholas was interesting.. hehehe.. well I guess just takes time to get used to his style of worship... anyways the message in the morning was alright, hearing our senior pastor speak is always something interesting... well today he talked about the coming of the Son of Man and the end times and really reiterated what was said yesterday, about sharing God with others in earnest, in desperation...
Friends Galore!!
Today was a day of meeting old friends... and new ones as well... We headed off to PS for lunch... and first met Charmaine there... thought they were leaving for KL today, but actually they're leaving tomorrow morning!! anyways I got a call from Alvin later and asked me to join the xlr8 (that's accelerate) team for dinner at Marina South. Anyways before that.. went to get guitar strings for my busted acoustic at home... still wondering if i should bring it to Aus... anyways and there met Rachel! after a short talk then moved on to trumpet praise and there I met Kenny Ong! Its good to have seen him after so long... but I guess he's still kinda funny... together then met Amy at spotlight cos the rest had already left for church, then got a lift to suntec cos Amy was meeting Melissa to get the Body Shop card.. after that departed to head home to get the car to meet the rest at Marina South!
Met up with the xlr8 team together with Ps Jeff as well... managed to enjoy the time with them really... though I didn't really manage to like blend in totally, but of course that will take time, and I appreciate their genuinity (if there's such a word) and friendliness.. well I'll get to know them better while over there definitely.. =)
Anyways tomorrow I'll be at home.. almost the whole day.. gonna watch mona lisa smiles with Amy, Rowena, Benson and Kenneth in the evening... wanted to catch that show earlier, but nobody to watch with!!! hehehe anyways hopefully I can get some exercise tomorrow... well till then, gdnite!!! =)

Accelerate Away!
Today was spent almost the entire day at Emmanuel A/G attending the Accelerate conference... I find it really exciting to see a vision for young adults to rise up... its something that is really lacking in Singapore, cos now everybody is focused on the youth age and there isn't really many churches that actually deal with young adults and how they transit from uni to the working environment... anyway today was really talking about how as young adults we shouldn't conform to taking our daily life as a constant routine, our relationship with God as a set of routine tasks, but we need to keep our relationship fresh and alive!! Cos God is just that! He's fresh and different and has so many ways to move its unimaginable! He's that awesome!!!
and the challenge came to really step out in faith, to be bold and not limit God by what we think we only can do, but to let God take over and use us, to surrender and say that as young adults we want to change our generation and the generations after us, cos God is limitless!! and He can change any situation around... I will remember this quote.. "God can change our wrongs into rights, but He cannot change NOTHING into SOMETHING!!"... and "Its only in taking risks, then you can really be FREE." May God help and use me as much as He wants to... I want to be a willing vessel...
I'm glad I went for the conference... also because I made some contacts... and also met up with old friends... Caught up with Alvin, Lung and Rachel... and met Aggie whose doing her masters in IT, and also Charmaine who was formerly from CHS... I'm excited to be going over... I believe God is doing some real work and I pray God will continue His work in my life... =) Unspeakable joy!!! =)

Accelerate!!
I just came back from the Accelerate Conference... I will state frankly that I was kind of disappointed by the turnout... there was only about 100over young adults that were there... however, tonight's session was I would say still awesome!! It's exciting to hear what the vision of the conference is... and that is to really network and establish Young Adult Ministries all over Singapore and the region to rise up and change our generation!! Its people like us, those in universities and young working adults that really can bring change to future generations after us!! I'm excited to go for the sessions tomorrow... I chose going for the Young Adults Worship and Studying Overseas electives... I hope that I can really take what I learn and apply it... =)
Other than the conference, it was also good catching up with my friends from aus... Other than Lung, Alvin and Rachel whom I knew.. I also found out that Milton, Serene and Norman are also in BCC and are involved in the Accelerate Conference!!!! Talk about coincidence... hahhaha.. well I'm excited to join the church when I go over... and they're also having another similar conference in Queensland during the April period, so I hope to be involved as well!! =)
Well tomorrow conference starts at 9pm, so I'm going to rest early tonight... need to get enough sleep.. hehehe... tom the conference day sessions supposed to end at 3pm, so I might just pop by youth service after all... see how it goes.. =) ok then! till tomorrow gdnite!!! =)

Brain drain...
Yep my brained is drained... hahahaha... just came back from the Maths Bridging Course at RELC... man going through the maths today was a good change.. but still tiring... had to remember all my stuff since secondary school A. Maths time which was like 7 years ago man!!!!
Daily hunger pangs..
today only got up at about 1230pm... cos spent last night watching LOTR 1 until about 2+am... hehehe.. then was lazy to leave the house to have lunch... so I grabbed a Fillet O Fish when I left for camp at 330pm to hand in some certificate to my S1 dept... then I took a really really long bus ride... 171 from Khatib all the way to Marina.. didn't expect it to take that long man!! First I waited for about 20mins for the bus... 2nd the entire ride took about 1h 15mins... in the end I didn't have any time for dinner... so I grabbed another burger.. this time the spicy bbq chicken burger... so all in all I had only 2 burgers for this entire day... hehehe.. and I'm hungry.. hahaha!!
Well tomorrow is an exciting day!!! its the start of the accelerate conference!! I wonder how its gonna be like but I'm eager to go!!! well its late so that's all folks!! till tomorrow!! =)

Finally Over!!
Its finally over!! I don't need to go back to camp anymore!!!! woohoo!!! ok i still need to go back to hand in my cert to change.. but other than that I don't need to go back until my ORD!!! hahahaha... happy liao... anyways today went back to camp to conduct lesson for the regulars and my team... one final lesson before they proceed on for the rest of their training... the regulars got exams so they need to learn.. hahaha... anyways yeah that took up like my entire day..
later at night, I met up with Connie, Janet, Andrew and Daniel at city hall... haven't seen Janet since she came back from Melbourne.. and Andrew, hadn't seen him ever since I went into army... hahaha so it was refreshing to catch up over a Kenny Rogers side dishes dinner. Then we took a small walk before settling at Pacific Coffee at Citylink for more talking crap session... hehehe... and just before leaving.. I met SHADIQ!!!! man I haven't seen him since I commissioned... I still remember how on he was throughout the whole of OCS... and the disappointment when he was put out of course... and the sadness when he saw us commission... but I'm glad he still managed to become an officer.. he's a really good one.. =)
anyways tomorrow I got Maths lesson at night... so I'll be over at Orchard area... well I probably will go back to camp to hand in the cert thingy before going down orchard.. well that'll be my day tomorrow.. today I rack people's brains.. tomorrow mine will be racked.. hehehe...

Lessons lessons lessons...
good afternoon!! taking a break during my lunch period as well as my lesson times... hehehe.. surprisingly I can manage to read all the blogs here in camp on the internet... dunno why also.. maybe its back up already!??! hahaaha i hope so.. anyways I'm bored!! the lesson is killing my throat... as always.. i wonder why.. maybe i'm not speaking from my diaphragm enough, but i feel like i am... hahaha.. anyways i'm blabbering again..

gd evening everybody!! its day 3 of not being able to read any of your blogspot blogs... its getting very sad cos I miss reading about ur daily rantings.. hahahah!!! anyways today was spent rotting mostly at home... I managed to clear up most of the mess in my room.. hehehe. but there's still a lot left.. hahah!! yep then I went over to Tampines Mall to collect my shirt I ordered... then went over to Century Square to get my hair cut... now got the Chinese New Year fee hike already man!!!! charge another extra $2... hehehe but the barber thought I was a secondary school student.. hahaha!! =0
anyways tonight I didn't manage to catch the show... when we got there only left the first 2 rows, so we decided to pop by Lido to see if got any shows, but there was only one at 930pm, so we just decided to hang out... =) Had dinner at Pasta Mania... which was pretty filling... Huimin had minestrone soup and Tuna and Bacon, while I had the clam chowder and Carbonara... after that we had some time going shopping before heading home... headed back early today cos she's got a long day tomorrow... =)
and that's why i can blog early today.. hehehehe... tomorrow going back to camp for lesson which was again pushed back to 10am.. so I don't really have to wake up very early... ok then! till tomorrow... gdnite!!!

today was a busy day... early in the morning was up already.. at about 8am.. then changed into my Army No. 4 (yes green again!!!!! aRGGH!!!!!) and headed off to Centennial Tower to open my Aus bank account with Commonwealth Bank. the aussie exchange rate went up again.. now its SG$1.30 for A$1... ARGH!! more heartache... and pocket emptiness.. and I got blasted by my dad for not saving enough money... which I myself also wonder where all my money go to... cos no matter how much I save, it somehow disappears from my accounts.. =(
anyways then headed back to camp... planned out my lessons for the revision lesson... then I just got a call saying they're shifting the lesson from tom to wed.. so I don't have to go to camp tom!!! woohoo!!! another day of sleeping in!! hahaha... well if the sun is out, maybe i'll go for a dip... =) I need some exercise and a tan... maybe go for some 20+ laps?
reached home at about 6+pm... and on my way back I got a call from Lung and Alvin!!!!!!! they're in town already!!!! Well some background info.. Lung is my 'FATHER' and Alvin was my former Cell leader when I was in Australia in 2001. They're in town for the Accelerate Young Adults Conference happening this Friday and Saturday at Emmanuel A/G.... yeah so that probably means I won't be able to attend Friday's church service and maybe Saturday's Edge... but I'm eager to learn what I can from God from this conference... and also to meet up with Lung, Alvin, Rachel and Jeremy too!!
Well ok then, I shall stop here.. the blogger is still not responding so I can't even read my own blog!!! its irritating when I can't read all of your daily rantings... hahaha!! see how much I love reading all your blogs?!?! SO UPDATE OFTEN!!! hahahaaa... ok then.. I shall not be like abriel who's blog entries are extremely extremely extremely long...

dunno what's with blogger today, but everything seems to be offline today.. can't get to see any of the other blogspot posts... anyways just to update you about today.. I didn't go to the first service today.. well cos I wasn't serving, so i managed to get a good rest and refresher.. =) anyway the service was good... Ps Douglas Seaward shared about why do we come to Jesus... King Herod was anxious and excited to see Jesus, but only because he wanted Jesus to perform a miracle for Him... He wanted the King of Kings and the Lord of lords to obey him... are we looking for Jesus because we want Him to do something for us, because we want Him to work on our schedule? Or are we like Zacchaeus, who looked for Jesus because he wanted peace, because he wanted an end to his miserable feeling that he always had, because he knew that Jesus had the answer to his problems?
I had lunch later together with the youth at Funan Centre.. then did a hunt for a case for the Palm. but apparantly other than the original palm hard casing, the other brands haven't come out with the casing yet.. so i guess i'll probably wait.. in the meantime i also saw some camera cases from lowepro... probably will get one soon to put my digi in.. rather than the case now, cos i dun really like it.. hahah! =) picky ol me..
yep after that I came home already.. thanks to Youxin for sending me back! and sorry to Rowena for being the brunt of my suaning today.. hahaha!! I'm sure she had fun.. =) the rest of the day I was meddling with my phone, getting new ringtones and uploading some photos.. =) and of course watching tv... hehee..
well i'm going back to camp tomorrow!! so sianz.. need to go back to prepare some lessons for tues and wednesday.. which means I'm also going back to camp on those 2 days... ahhh.. so sianz.. hahaha!! oh yeah and i'm going to get my aus bank account open in the morning... hope tomorrow won't be too busy.. =) ok then gdnite everybody!!

today was a short day.. I must say.. =) My dad got me up in the morning about 10+... then went to look at handphones and I finally changed my phone!!! =) Yep switched to the Nokia 3200... now looking for some good ringtones and images.. hehehe.. =)
anyways then headed off for youth.. at the first Edge service for the year.. well Ps Jeremy Seaward wasn't around cos he had to be at the Expo, guess to prep for tomorrow VFC service... anyways we didn't have the projector.. so there wasn't any slides at all.. I guess that's why some of the people were kinda lost during the worship.. but it still went well... Isa did a good job! =) and I got a birthday card from Esther!! haha was surprised! thanks!!
yeah then had dinner at Blk 3.. long time never go there already.. hehehe.. =) yep then actually Raju suggested going bowling.. but only left me who was willing to go.. so in the end, we didn't and I came home... and been busy messing with my new phone and messing with my palm, cos the bible in my palm seems to be hanging a lot... hehehe.. =)
well tomorrow's Sunday again!!! the first Sunday of the year!!! woohoo!!

today went about pretty smoothly... First went back to camp to see my chief clerk.. yep I finally submitted in my early release papers!!! So they can process my early ORD application for studies... woohoo!!! Then went back to my bunk and packed up and brought ALL of my barang barang back home!!! which means NO MORE STUFF IN CAMP!! ok, maybe not totally, I have intent to take back a multiplug and some reams of paper.. hahaha. =)
yep that took up my morning.. then went opposite to G2000 with my dad to get a suit... for ME!! yep.. got a suit for both my University days as well as my sis' wedding coming up at the end of the year... yes for some of you who still do not know.. yes I do have a sister.. an older one..
moving on.. had lunch with my dad.. yoshinoya.. cos he had the newspaper cutting... free bowl for buying one complete meal.. yeah so we had that.. i had the beef (AS USUAL, with loads of chili) and my dad had the salmon...
later in the evening went to church... lead worship... I think I need to improve my fast songs repertoire... I'm just too used to the slow stuff... it comes to me so much more easily... you'll find it ironic after sitting in my car.. hahaha.. anyways Ps Douglas Seaward shared about Commitment... and its something that strikes a chord... commitment to God, commitment to service, commitment to relationships... like Ruth who was committed and held on to Naomi who had nothing at all, yet she followed her all the way... may I likewise hold on to God who knows what is in store for me... the awesome and magnificent Father whose ways are far greater than mine, and whose understanding knows no limits.. amen!

Resolutions
Well, its the new year, and I was watching the news on ch5 and they talked about resolutions. It got me to thinking... what resolutions did I make last year?? well actually I didn't make any... what about this year? I guess I've never really been a person to make and keep resolutions... but I guess moving through this year, and being exposed to so much of the learning army concepts and after-action review.. guess its time I got down to doing some goal-setting for this coming year.. So here's some resolutions that I would like to have achieved through this year...
1. A closer walk with God, a closer relationship with Him, a new stirring of fires within myself for people...
2. A bachelor degree, preferably with outstanding results...
3. Be more open with people.
perhaps when I think of somemore I'll post it down.. but mainly that's the 3 things that would be my focus this year... esp getting through my studies cos I've only got this one year to make it happen.. =)
Ok then, I'll be going back to camp tomorrow to go pass documents to my chief clerk.. hopefully I won't get faked again... also gonna bring back most of my barang barang.. hehe.. and I'm doing worship tomorrow for youth.. pls pray for a right and sensitive spirit... I'm not exactly in the best mood to go into it... yet the Lord is faithful amen! Gdnite ppl!!

Happy New Year!!
good morning!! and a happy 2004 to all of you!! wow, its amazing how quickly 2003 has passed.. I'd never thought this year would go by so quickly... I'm already going to finish army and clear leave and going to study!!! man... its unbelievable, but you better believe it!!
well anyways the watchnight service today good... beautiful testimonies from all who gave them, and our performance was awesome!!! it was so cool!! I'll post some pictures up when I wake up later! Man I felt so inspired... hahahaa even though we were performing to a familiar crowd and there was some occasional laughter that was kinda out of place, but still it was really enjoyable, and the message really brought across loh.. =) that's the most important thing!!
oh yeah, and I got to eat cake.. hahaha.. they bought cakes for Ian and myself (whose birthday also falls on the same day as me!) and so we got to kinds of cakes to eat.. hahaha.. yumyum...
anyway after the service, I sent my parents back and then went to Bedok market to eat the bak chor mee.. but it was really super crowded loh.. so we just ordered what we could.. some had the carrot cake, western food, porridge, fried oyster omelette... and so that was supper... then I dropped them off to meet the other group at the Merlion over near Fullerton while I headed off to Lau Pa Sat to meet up with some crusade friends! In the end decided to go bowling over at East Coast... and there I met the ppl from Berean Assembly!! Hadn't seen Titus and Ashton and Tim and Joshua for quite some time.. as well as some of the other younger youth that I hadn't seen in ages!! hehehe.. =) it was good catching up with them for a while.. =)
then bowling... i was quite off first few frames... was looking to adjust my hook and all... only managed to get it together in the last 4-5 frames or so... so got a miserable 109.. at least i managed to get my minimum 100 per game.. hehehe...
Well its time to sleep for me now.. will be back later uploading photos and everything.. =) so I'll see you later! Gd morning!!!
